TNG Digital, operator of TNG eWallet, has launched Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB) Financing in collaboration with CIMB, marking the platform’s first Islamic financing offering. Bumiputera users can now invest in ASB through structured monthly repayments, rather than requiring a large upfront sum.
Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB) Financing
According to TNG Digital, the launch addresses barriers that have limited long-term investment access for many Bumiputera users, including fragmented application processes, complex documentation, and the need for substantial initial capital. These factors have historically made it harder for younger and first-time investors to begin building wealth.
Bumiputera users currently represent 70% of TNG eWallet’s Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad (ASNB) investor base and account for 52% of total investment value on the platform. Since ASNB was integrated into the app in 2023, the number of users actively investing through TNG eWallet has grown 44% year-on-year as of May 2026.

The financing is provided through CIMB Islamic Bank and is channeled directly into ASB funds. Users can apply entirely within TNG eWallet (under “GOfinance” section), track their application status, and monitor their investments without visiting a branch or submitting physical documents. Users can participate in ASB’s annual dividend distributions while building long-term saving habits through regular monthly repayments.
ASB Financing is available now on TNG eWallet with financing amounts ranging from RM10,000 to RM200,000 and tenure options between 5 and 40 years. Further details on ASNB investment products available through TNG eWallet can be found on TnG official website.
