Yoodo Rolls Out 5G Coverage, First MVNO To Do So

The telco operator makes it official that they are the first MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) to enable 5G connectivity to its subscribers. Those with Android 5G devices with related 5G pass subscriptions will be able to try out 5G starting today (15 Feb 2023) until further notice.
“Yoodo is excited to be the first to offer high-speed internet to its users and to offer streaming abilities of tomorrow served up today. We are proud to be a pioneer when it comes to 5G technology. Now all Yoodo users can enjoy free trials for 5G services with their existing SIM cards. This milestone represents our continuous effort to delivering on our commitment to provide advanced communication services to our users. We at Yoodo believe in a world where limitless connectivity improves lives and redefines opportunities,” said Chow Tuck Mun, head of Yoodo.
To access free 5G trials, users can subscribe to any 30-day data plans from 10GB to 200GB. As mentioned, this is currently limited to Android devices as the operator is working to get 5G support on iOS devices as well.
