Windows 11 has now received a new update with various new features, and headlining them is the much-anticipated Bing AI, now built right into the search bar residing on Windows 11 taskbars. That being said, that doesn’t mean you’ll be able to use it right now – Bing AI is still on a long waitlist and Microsoft has clarified that you’ll need to join the waitlist first before you can start using the feature. Those who already signed up to the preview can use the feature right away.

Smartphones will get even greater integration through this latest update. iOS users will have to settle with the Phone Link available in Windows Insider preview channel for now as the app is currently undergoing testing – meanwhile for Android camp, particularly Samsung Galaxy owners, they will be able to activate the phone’s mobile hotspot right from Windows by clicking on the Wi-Fi network list. Another feature, Recent Websites, allows for seamless web browsing across phone and PC with instant session handover.

Another new feature is courtesy of screen recording feature in Snipping Tool. Previously, recoding on Windows 10 is only available through a workaround using Game Bar, but in this update it’s built right into Windows 11. Windows Studio Effects now comes with AI to enable eye contact, background blur, auto framing, voice focus and more; and is accessible under Quick Settings.
