GeForce NOW is said to brings over 1,400 titles, including more than 100 free-to-play titles, to any internet-capable device – in line with ‘5G for All’ mission statement, YTL has claimed the collaboration with NVIDIA meant gamers won’t need to invest on dedicated gaming hardware or storage systems upfront – lowering the barrier for many to access the best games PC platform has to offer.

YTL’s CEO, Wing K. Lee says: “This exclusive collaboration with NVIDIA in Malaysia shows our commitment to bringing ‘5G for All’ and to accelerating digital transformation in the country for the rakyat. The future of gaming is here, and we are excited to be able to bring world-class services to our subscribers. By introducing this new cloud gaming platform, we hope to offer Malaysians the chance for them to explore their fullest gaming potential with Yes 5G.”

All being said, no official word on the release date for GeForce NOW just yet – though YTL assures the details of this venture and subsequent implementation “will be announced soon”. While we wait, Yes has launched a newsletter channel here if you’re keen to get the latest updates.

Pokdepinion: I saw GeForce NOW does in fact has the option to go through Starhub SG servers at this moment – I wonder if Johoreans might get to pick between either of them?
