Disney+ Video Streaming Service Coming in 2019

Disney+ Video Streaming Service Coming in 2019

We’ve known for a while now that Disney has planned to launch their own video streaming service. Today, we got to know that it will be coming late 2019 and will officially be known as Disney+ (Disney Plus).

Together with the announcement for the name, Disney has announced two major shows that will be coming to the streaming service. The first is another Star Wars spin-off set before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story starring Diego Luna as Cassian Andor.

The heavily rumoured Loki series starring Tom Hiddleston was also confirmed. These shows will be joined by the already announced shows such as Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian, Monsters Inc., and High School Musical.

It looks like they are really going to push hard and leverage on existing successful franchises to attract people to the service. From the picture at the top of this post, we can see that it will include Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic.

We expect to hear more when the streaming service’s arrival is near. For now, it will be launching in late 2019 for the United States. No words yet on a launch in other countries / regions.

Pokdepinion: It’s not even here yet and I already want to subscribe. The child in me is strong in this one. Well, guess there’s more to look forward to in 2019.
