Honda Malaysia has officially launched the new generation Honda City Hatchback, bringing refreshed exterior styling, upgraded connectivity features, and a full suite of safety technologies to the B-segment market. The lineup consists of three variants: the V, Petrol RS, and e:HEV RS – the automaker positions the new hatchback alongside the recently launched Honda City Sedan, giving buyers two distinct body styles under the refreshed City nameplate.
New Honda City Hatchback Now Available

On the exterior, all variants of the New City Hatchback now feature an integrated headlight layout with New Connected Headlights and New Bi-LED Headlights. New 16-inch two-tone alloy wheels are finished in Berlina Black and Dark Clear for the RS variants, and Shark Gray for the V; color options include Platinum White Pearl, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, Stellar Diamond Pearl (petrol variants only), and a new Blazing Red Pearl shade.
Inside, the cabin receives a refreshed dashboard with a 3D Pattern Mid Garnish paired with Ambient Lighting, with RS variants in particular get sport seat trim with red stitching. A 10-inch Display Audio system is standard across all variants, while the e:HEV RS adds a wireless charger. The signature ULTRA Seats are retained, offering four configurations including Utility, Long, Tall, and Refresh modes to adapt the cabin for different cargo and lifestyle needs.

Safety equipment has been significantly expanded. Blind Spot Information with Cross Traffic Monitoring, Honda LaneWatch, and Honda SENSING are now standard on all variants. The 360-degree Multi-View Camera System is fitted as standard on both RS variants.
Under the bonnet, the New City Hatchback is offered with either a 1.5L DOHC i-VTEC petrol engine or a 1.5L e:HEV hybrid powertrain, of which the range-topping e:HEV RS produces 109PS and 253Nm of torque. The hybrid variant is backed by Honda Malaysia’s 10-Year Hybrid Battery Warranty with Unlimited Mileage, while all variants carry an 8-Year Warranty with Unlimited Mileage.

Here’s the official pricing of the new Honda City Hatchback (on-the-road, without insurance): the V variant is priced at RM95,900, the Petrol RS at RM100,900, and the hybrid e:HEV RS will set you back for RM112,900. Test drives and bookings for the New City Hatchback are available at or at any Honda authorized dealer nationwide.
As part of the launch campaign, customers who register any of the three variants will receive a RM4,000 cash reward, while existing Honda owners who trade in their vehicles via the Honda Certified Used Car program can claim an additional RM2,000 rebate. Customers trading in any car brand at participating Honda authorized dealers through a collaboration with CARSOME are eligible for a RM1,000 rebate toward their new purchase.
