The Toyota Malaysia Pickle Tour 2026 concluded its nationwide run on 28 September 2026 in Subang Jaya, closing out a five-city series that brought together more than 1,500 participants across Sarawak, Sabah, Johor, Penang, and Selangor. Organized by UMW Toyota Motor with support from the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS), the Tour is described as one of the widest-reaching pickleball events held in Malaysia to date.

The Tour – now on its second year of running – began in Kuching before moving through Kota Kinabalu, Johor Bahru, and George Town, ending with a final weekend of competition and community activities in Subang Jaya. Across the five stops, 637 adults and 289 juniors competed, with junior categories open to players from age seven and adult teams including participants aged 50 and above. A further 177 participants took part through coaching clinics held alongside the competitions.
Adult participants competed under a “Solo Entry. Team Glory.” format, registering individually before being grouped into teams for competition. The Tour carried a total prize pool of RM175,000, split across separate adult and junior categories, with winners recognized at each leg of the series.
“We are grateful to the players, families and pickleball communities who have supported us from one stop to the next. This year, the Tour reached communities across East and West Malaysia, making it one of the country’s most extensive pickleball tours by geographical reach,” Datuk Ravindran K., President of UMW Toyota Motor, said. “For us, that is Mobility for All in action, creating more opportunities for people to move, connect and enjoy the sport together.”
