[COMPUTEX 2026] MSI Holds 40th Anniversary Exhibition At Songshan Cultural And Creative Park

MSI announced it is holding a four-day exhibition at Warehouse 5, Songshan Cultural and Creative Park in Taipei from 4 to 7 June 2026, coinciding with COMPUTEX week; the free-admission event marks the company’s 40th anniversary and features product displays, IP collaborations, and game trials across eight designated zones.

The exhibition includes displays of milestone hardware spanning four decades, among them is the new MSI GeForce RTX 5090 32G Lightning Z graphics card, which received the COMPUTEX 2026 Best Choice Golden Award. The opening section features three surround screens presenting a retrospective of MSI’s history since its founding in 1986, when the company launched its first overclockable motherboard, along with many other famous models since then.

The eight zones cover MSI’s history, manufacturing processes, business products, gaming hardware, IP collaborations, and AI computing. A manufacturing-focused zone includes a one-day PC assembly challenge where participants can redeem limited merchandise through capsule machines.

The IP collaboration zone features the public debut of hardware based on the anime “Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End,” incorporating thermal-reactive technology that changes the colour of a printed magic circle at 40 degrees Celsius. Other themed hardware on display includes limited editions based on Evangelion, Monster Hunter, and Toy Story. Meanwhile, the gaming zone offers hands-on trials of titles including Resident Evil Requiem and Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.

An AI and IoT-focused zone (labelled “AI Lab”) displays AI laptops, desktops, enterprise servers, and smart EV chargers. On show is the EdgeXpert AI Supercomputer and MSI’s LuckyClaw, an AI agent tool. A separate 40th anniversary area at the end of the exhibition includes a merchandise store, gift redemption, and photo booths. The store features anniversary-specific items including the Lucky Football Blind Box and the MSI Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Draco Epic laptop.

The exhibition opens starting 4 June, first two days or which are designated for media and VIP guests. General public can visit the exhibition on 6 and 7 June, with extended hours until 22:00 applicable on 5 and 6 June, while 4 and 7 June operate from 10:00 to 18:00. Admission is free for all days.
