[COMPUTEX 2026] COLORFUL Showcases New PC Components, New iGame Origo Laptops & Concept Builds

For this year, COLORFUL took its COMPUTEX 2026 showcase away from the usual spot in Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center and towards a different part of Taipei instead, at the Taipei Marriott Hotel located at the northern side of the metropolitan area.

Nonetheless, the showcase is bringing the company’s latest offerings, including a new GPU courtesy of 007: First Light, two new iGame Origo series gaming laptops, and several concept PCs and spaces to showcase their builds with.

Updated iGame Origo M15/M16 Gaming Laptops

COLORFUL positions its iGame Origo series as the flagship among its laptop lineup. The last time we saw the machine, it was packing Intel Core i9-14900HX and RTX 5070 as its hardware; for this time, the GPU options remain (at 115W TGP), while the CPU side of things has received upgrades courtesy of Intel’s latest laptop processors.

The 15-inch Origo M15 now features Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor with 8P+16E cores, whereas the 16-inch Origo M16 will be powered by Intel’s latest Core Ultra 9 386H processor instead, featuring 4P+8E+4LPE cores. Do note that the chassis itself is unchanged, so it’s got the same 200W total system power envelope to work with; all that is housed within a sub-20mm chassis, though it gets a bit hefty at 2.35kg.

To match that increased performance, the laptops also get 2.5K 300Hz displays to keep up. COLORFUL says this 16:10 panel is rated for 500 nits of brightness, though color performance is fairly modest (but usable), covering 100% of sRGB color space. That aside, the laptops also supports the new COLORFUL Netsite (七彩虹互联) Android app that enables voice command controls, along with user presence detection for locking the laptop while the user is away.

007 First Light RTX 5070 GPU

Double-O-Seven’s prelude story in 007 First Light has got an official collaboration in the form of COLORFUL’s iGame Ultra RTX 5070 OC GPU as its base, with accented gold and black colors to match the game’s aesthetics. Behind the GPU is where you’ll see the cover art of the game painted on the entirety of this card’s backplate (we couldn’t get the GPU off the racks so below is the official render image for reference).

Of course, this is the exact same card as the regular iGame card under the hood, with 2325MHz base clock and 2512 / 2557MHz (one-key OC) boost clock – cooling involves six 6mm heatpipes, and it’s got a HDMI 2.1 port along with three DisplayPort 2.1 outputs for I/O. No word on availability thus far, though we expect this one to be a limited edition special if it ever reaches the retail stores.

COLORFUL has introduced the Rimbook L1 Plus which is said to feature a 16-inch 2.5K display in an AMD Ryzen-powered chassis, though there’s also an upcoming model that is currently in prototype phase (the leftmost model, which is presumed to be a 14-inch chassis). While the brand’s laptop presence is largely within China, it is rapidly expanding its laptop lineup in recent years, so we might not have to wait for long to see these laptops sold here en masse.

COLORFUL is also expanding its BattleAx lineup beyond just GPUs and motherboards. There’s a whole line of RAM kits and SSDs with the company’s budget line branding on it, and in this economy and market condition at large, we all could probably do with some value-friendly stuff in our PCs.

The modern living room concept in the front side of the show floor has several interesting PC builds. The first one might confuse you at first – but there indeed is a full-blown PC hidden inside this inconspicuous-looking desk, which certainly beats having a tall and large console potentially getting in the way (looking at you, PlayStation). There’s also a PC equivalent of Xbox Series X-style PC, though the top-facing fan in this case is actually the GPU fan for the company’s single-fan, SFF-compatible iGame MINI OC series GPUs.

There’s a more typical-looking desktop sitting in the corner of the room, but one that naturally demands attention is the white-themed BTF 3.0 concept PC. In case you missed it, this standard removes cables from GPUs, hides cables from motherboards, and also eliminates all cables from PSU short for the one connecting to the wall socket – the result is an extremely clean looking build, but up until this point we have yet to see any global brand taking serious efforts in accommodating the new BTF standard (and even BTF 2.0 is barely progressing right now).

It’s a shame, really, but if a brand as big as COLORFUL is willing to make it stick in the long run, it should have some commanding power in deciding how the desktop PCs of the future can look like.
