The Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) is stepping up efforts to connect businesses with digital solutions through its BIZmatch platform, a technology and business-matching initiative designed to help enterprises adopt productivity-enhancing tools suited to their operational needs. The latest milestone comes via the BIZmatch Get2Gather 2026 Series 3 event, focused on the retail and food and beverages sectors.

The event, themed “Strengthening the BIZmatch Ecosystem to Accelerate Productivity,” was held in Kuala Lumpur and organized by Bean Search Expert (Beanst) in collaboration with MPC. It brought together businesses and digital solution providers for networking, business matching, knowledge sharing, and demonstrations of AI-enabled productivity tools.

MPC BIZmatch Platform Reaches 779 Registered Companies

To date, 779 companies have registered on the BIZmatch platform, with 53 digital solution providers onboarded to offer a growing range of technology and productivity tools. The platform operates under MPC’s Digital Productivity Nexus (DPN) and Retail and Food and Beverages Productivity Nexus (RFBPN), functioning as a centralised hub that matches enterprises with suitable partners and market opportunities.

The initiative is expected to benefit more than 50,000 businesses nationwide. Solutions available through BIZmatch span artificial intelligence, enterprise software, business management systems, digital marketing, e-commerce, digital payment and fintech services, as well as cybersecurity solutions.

MPC Deputy Director General Dr. Mazrina Mohamed Ibramsah noted that digital transformation is not simply about technology adoption, but about identifying the right solutions for specific business needs. The goal is to help enterprises work smarter, reduce costs, and uncover new growth opportunities through targeted technology matching.

Malaysia’s position in the IMD World Competitiveness Ranking 2026 adds context to the initiative. The country ranked 9th globally for AI skills that meet business requirements, indicating a relatively strong talent base in AI-related competencies that can support ongoing digitalization efforts across industries.
