Weyrdlets 2.0 has three new downloadable content (DLC) packs now available, adding a new pet Wasabi, a new Mellow Meadows habitat, and a decoration collection to the desktop companion game.
New Weyrdlets 2.0 DLCs
Wasabi is what you’ll get in the first of the three DLCs, being the new avian pet addition joining the existing lineup of desktop companions available in Weyrdlets 2.0; the second DLC, Mellow Meadows, adds a new habitat option inspired by cabins and open meadow settings. Players will be able to switch between the existing Cozy Island habitat and Mellow Meadows at any time.
Finally, the third DLC, the Magical Treasures Collection, adds fantasy-themed furniture and accessories, including Worble Orbs, a Mimic Mini Pet and several animated furniture pieces intended to add detail to in-game living spaces. All three DLCs are now available for purchase on Steam, alongside the base Weyrdlets 2.0 game.
Weyrdlets 2.0 is a desktop companion game available on Steam in which players adopt virtual pets, decorate their habitats, play mini-games and use built-in productivity tools such as Pomodoro timers, to-do lists and wellness reminders. In case you’re out of the loop, the game transitioned from freemium model to one-time purchase (excluding DLCs) earlier this year, with all in-game transactions permanently removed.
Pokdepinion: Technically speaking these DLCs more or less are the same as in-game purchases, but I suppose the optics are better when it’s introduced as DLCs.
