HONOR launched the HONOR X9e Pro in Malaysia on 24 September 2026, the newest addition to its X Series; alongside the phone, HONOR introduced a new AIoT lineup comprising the HONOR Pad 20 Series, HONOR Watch 6, HONOR CHOICE KUMI AI Note and HONOR CHOICE Security Camera.

HONOR X9e Pro has several durability upgrades – for starters, drop protection is covered by HONOR’s Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Technology 4.0, featuring an impact-management structure combining arch-shaped reinforcement, high-strength metal and adhesive bonding to redirect impact away from the display and mainboard. HONOR says the phone can survive drops of up to 3 meters, reducing the risk of screen damage by up to 82%, and has received SGS 5-Star Certification for drop resistance.
On water resistance, the device carries IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings, using a compartmentalized internal structure that separately seals the display, middle frame, back cover and key openings such as buttons, speakers, the USB-C port and SIM tray. HONOR says this allows the phone to withstand depths of up to 10 meters – a big jump from 1.5 meters on the previous generation – with support for underwater photography at that depth under controlled conditions. The device was tested through 100,000 submersion cycles and a 24-hour salt-spray test, HONOR also claimed.
The HONOR X9e Pro houses an 11,000mAh battery, which holds 33% more capacity than before while the entire phone is no bulkier than usual, measuring 8.08mm thick and weighing 203g. Said battery is claimed to last up to 66.8 hours of video playback and up to three days of typical use, while charging features include 80W HONOR SuperCharge, along with 27W wired reverse charging. Its display measures 6.8 inches with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 10,000 nits (APL unspecified), alongside eye comfort features such as AI Defocus Display and Circadian Night Display.
The main camera is a 108MP sensor with CIPA 6.0-level image stabilization, a feature HONOR says was previously used on the HONOR 600 Pro; to complement its new submersion capabilities, an Underwater Color Tuning feature is included to reduce color casts in underwater shots. The phone runs on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset, paired with HONOR’s Hummingbird Architecture 2.0, which the company says is designed to maintain smooth performance for up to 72 months.
AIoT Lineup: HONOR Pad 20 Series, HONOR Watch 6, HONOR AI Note & HONOR CHOICE Security Camera
Here’s what has been introduced alongside the X9e Pro: the HONOR Pad 20 Pro features a 12.1-inch 3K 165Hz anti-glare display, while the standard HONOR Pad 20 uses a 12.1-inch 120Hz 3K display. Both features a dedicated “PC Mode” with a desktop-style interface, multi-window support and WPS Office. The Pro model runs on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, while the Pad 20 uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3; both carry a 10,100mAh battery.
Moving on, we have the new HONOR Watch 6 – it supports 120 workout modes, including dedicated modes for badminton and football, with up to 35 days of battery life and NFC support for door access; the HONOR CHOICE KUMI AI Note is a Plaud-like device that attaches to HONOR smartphones and offers always-on voice recording and transcription in more than 130 languages. Lastly, the HONOR CHOICE Security Camera offers 3MP imaging, 2K video, 360-degree rotation and motion tracking.

The HONOR X9e Pro is available in Royal Purple, Reddish Brown, Dawn Gold and Midnight Black colors; pre-orders run until 8 October, with an instant RM100 rebate on full payment and a gift bundle worth RM1,626 (HONOR Pad X7 Wi-Fi, 730-day crack warranty, 730-day liquid damage protection, one year extended warranty). As for the HONOR Pad 20 lineup, they’re available with gifts worth up to RM898, including a Bluetooth keyboard and HONOR Magic-Pencil 4S; eligible students get a 15% education discount.

Pokdepinion: The deals sure makes this price a lot more enticing. Companies probably are willing to tank some of that price margins in current memory pricing situation if it means extra market share (not that HONOR lacks any of it in this segment right now).
