Harvey Norman celebrated the grand opening of its newest outlet at Coalfields Retail Park in Sungai Buloh, Selangor, on 25 September 2026, marking the retailer’s 41st store in Malaysia. The store is located within Bandar Seri Coalfields and is accessible via several major highways, including the North-South Expressway, Guthrie Corridor Expressway, LATAR, DASH, and the West Coast Expressway.

Like many of its major outlets, new store carries kitchen appliances, refrigeration units, plus laundry and air conditioning solutions, alongside a dedicated TV Zone for large-screen displays and an interactive Sound Bar Wall for audio comparisons. It also stocks small appliances such as stick and robotic vacuums, coffee machines, and air purifiers.
On the technology side, the store offers smartphones, tablets, gaming laptops, and AI-powered PCs, supported by staff Harvey Norman refers to as “Next Gen AI Experts,” who provide product guidance and recommendations. The furniture and bedding section includes robot vacuum-friendly recliner sofas and what the company describes as its first fully customizable dining collection, along with adjustable beds and mattress collections.
To mark the launch, Harvey Norman is running promotions from 25 to 27 September 2026, including daily Happy Hour deals at 4pm and 7pm on a first-come, first-served basis. Listed discounts include a Toshiba two-door fridge at RM797 (down from RM1,699), an LG 8kg washer at RM997 (from RM2,299), a Samsung 55-inch TV at RM1,397 (from RM2,899), and a Fujitec Norway massage chair at RM2,991 (from RM8,996), among other items.
Customers spending RM300 or more in a single transaction can enter an RM1 lucky draw for prizes worth over RM15,000, held daily at 2pm, 5pm, and 8pm, as well as a separate Guaranteed Sure-Win promotion offering instant rewards such as gift cards. The store is also hosting live product demonstrations from brands including Electrolux, LG, Panasonic, Philips, and Teka.
Harvey Norman’s wider Grand Opening Sale, covering electrical appliances, computers, mobile devices, furniture, and bedding, runs until 14 October 2026.
