Free-to-play tactical shooter Delta Force marked its second anniversary on 26 September with an anniversary broadcast outlining upcoming content across its Operations and Warfare modes, alongside new social features and updates to its competitive scene. Game Director Shadow presented the roadmap, which spans new maps, a bomb-defusal mode, and Operator-focused features running into 2027.

Siege: Valkyrie and Detonation Mode Lead New Content
Siege: Valkyrie, a new Operations map built with Unreal Engine 5, is scheduled to arrive in early 2027. The map is set in a city under siege and is divided by a city wall into two zones with different rules and risk levels: an opulent but dangerous inner city, and an outer city shaped by resource scarcity. Players will be able to extract early with limited gains or push further into the city for a larger payout at greater risk. The map will also mark the first time players from different difficulty tiers are placed into the same match.
Unreal Engine 5 upgrades are also extending to Warfare, following their introduction with The Mog map at the start of Season Reorientation. A further Warfare map using the engine is due in November, with additional maps planned throughout 2027.
Separately, Detonation, a new bomb-defusal mode, entered global beta on 27 September for PC and mobile players, with console access planned later this year. The mode pits an attacking team tasked with planting a bomb against a defending team working to stop the plant or defuse it in time; console access is expected later in the year, and player feedback during the beta will inform its full release.
Operator Archives, Operator Quarters and Esports Updates
Operator Archives, a new feature exploring the backstories of Delta Force’s Operators, launched on 26 September through the game’s official channels. A related feature, Operator Quarters, is set to arrive in early 2027 as a dedicated space for players to customize their loadouts and socialize with friends.
On the competitive side, RISE Series Season 2 is currently underway, bringing together teams from EMEA and the Americas. The top 12 international teams from the season will advance to the inaugural Delta Force Invitational at DreamHack Stockholm, running from 27–29 November 2026.
Season Reorientation Update Adds Quality-of-Life Changes
Season Reorientation, the first phase of the anniversary celebrations, is live now and brings several changes to Operations, including cross-region matchmaking, a One-Click Loadout option, and a rebuilt tutorial. The update also introduces the G.T.I. Field Manual and Combat Support Fund systems.
Layali Grove has been expanded to version 2.0 with new explorable areas, fishing, and jet ski-based gameplay, while the Polaris Patrol event returns with a reworked boss-mode experience, new rewards, and the game’s first craftable collectible. In Warfare, The Mog introduces a convoy escort mode inspired by Black Hawk Down, combining ground and aerial combat.
Anniversary celebrations, which began on 26 September, allow players to earn up to 3,900 limited-time Delta Tickets, along with the Golden State Legendary AUG weapon appearance and other anniversary-themed rewards.
