Monster Hunter Outlanders, the survival hunting action mobile game licensed and supervised by Capcom, developed by TiMi Studio Group, and published by Garena in Southeast Asia, is set to launch on 29 October 2026. The announcement comes alongside a new Tokyo Game Show trailer and a message video from the game’s producers, Ryozo Tsujimoto and Huang Dong.

Monster Hunter Outlanders is designed to bring the series’ signature hunting gameplay to mobile devices, targeting both long-time fans of the franchise and newcomers alike – the game takes place on an island built for exploration and hunting, with two control modes available: Classic, aimed at returning Monster Hunter players, and Adventure, which is tuned to help newcomers get comfortable with the mechanics more quickly.

The trailer offers an extended look at Ruger Aidal, an elder dragon previously revealed for the game; the footage shows Ruger Aidal emerging from the clouds in flight before squaring off against a group of adventurers, with its razor-sharp golden wings on full display.

Also featured in the clip is adventurer Freya hunting alongside her buddy, along with in-game footage of new adventurer Haze on a hunt, and the protagonist taking on an Azure Rathalos using a hammer. Environmental traversal mechanics are also shown, including the Gliding Challenge and the Wind Platform, which allow players to move between areas during hunts.

Pre-registration for Monster Hunter Outlanders is now open on both the App Store and Google Play ahead of the 29 October launch.
