The smart #3 has been recognized as the “Best Compact Premium EV” at the Car of the Year (COTY) 2024 awards, hosted by Carlist.my and WapCar.

The #3 EV was launched earlier this year with three variants offered – Pro, Premium, and Brabus. This slightly upsized sibling of #1 crossover produces 268hp (200kW) and 343Nm from its rear-mounted motor that completes the 0-100km/h in 5.8 seconds in both Pro and Premium flavors; the spicier Brabus variant packs an AWD dual-motor setup that pushes 422hp (315kW) and 543Nm to a mere 3.7-second run to 100km/h.
