Yesterday (3 Aug 2023), DJI hosted the launch event for the company’s new Osmo Action 4 camera, as well as showcasing the recently-launched Air 3 drone at Sunway Lagoon’s Surf Beach, providing creators and media personnel alike to try out their latest innovations.

“We are extremely excited to introduce the newly launched DJI’s latest product, the DJI Osmo Action 4. This upgrade is designed to capture memories with visual excellence, and we hope that this latest product will provide the best experience to users, especially those passionate about adventure and photography,” said Lee Jsheng, Branding Manager of DJI Malaysia.

The Osmo Action 4 is the brand’s next iteration in the action camera segment – it now features a larger, 1/1.3″ sensor with f/2.8 aperture for better low-light performance. It’s capable of capturing 4K120 footage with FOV up to 155°, and various stabilization modes such as HorizonSteady, RockSteady 3.0/3.0+ and HorizonBalancing keeps the footage leveled in different shooting scenarios.

Meanwhile, the event also showcased the new DJI Air 3 drone, launched just last week; it features a dual-primary camera system that uses the same sensor for both 24mm and 70mm equivalent lenses. It’s capable of delivering 48MP images and 4K60 HDR videos, 10-bit D-Log M and HLG color modes allows greater color grading flexibility. The drone also supports 2.7K resolution vertical shooting mode as well.

Both models are now available in DJI Experience Stores and DJI’s online shopping platforms, including Shopee and Lazada.
