Recently, the Insta360 ONE RS 1-Inch Leica 360 Edition was launched. In case you might be interested, it will indeed be making its way to Malaysia as some retailers here have already started offering pre-orders for the new camera.
From what we know, the price here in Malaysia is set at RM3,599 and they are expected to arrive sometime later this month. For those of you who aren’t aware, the Insta360 ONE RS 1-Inch Leica 360 Edition is a new 360 camera co-developed with Leica and features up to 6K resolution 360° video recording capabilities. You can also take up to 21MP pictures as well.
The camera itself is designed to work with the Insta360 modular components and bases, like the one from the original ONE RS. You are expected to get a vertical grip bracket, a core module with LCD screen and microSD slot, and a battery module. You can easily mount it on a tripod or monopod via the 1.4-inch screw mount on the grip. Despite its modularity, it’s said to be quite secure with a water resistance rating of IPX3.
