Sony ZV-1 Digital Camera To Arrive In Malaysia Soon

The folks at Sony has recently announced their new pocket-sized digital camera called the Sony ZV-1, a lightweight and compact all-in-one style camera, which is about to arrive in Malaysia in July.

The Sony ZV-1 features a 1.0-type stacked Exmor RS CMOS image sensor with DRAM chip as well as 24-70mm F1.8-2.8 ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T large-aperture lens that can create a background blur effect.

It also includes the BIONZ X image processor that comes with LSI to deliver high resolution as well as low noise for better image quality.

In case you are wondering, the Sony ZV-1 is the brand’s first compact camera that comes with a side-opening Vari-angle LCD screen which makes it easier to preview your shots in a ‘smartphone view’ while also connecting external audio accessories.

Other than that, it comes with advanced autofocus that allows it to lock and track subjects with accuracy and speed while you’re recording. The new Face Priority autoexposure function detects and prioritizes the subject’s face and adjusts the exposure to ensure that the face is showed at an ideal brightness.

The Sony ZV-1 weighs in at only 294g and its onboard mic features the brand’s latest Directional 3-capsule mic that’s designed for forward-directional audio capture. This helps to capture clear audio while minimizing background noise. There’s support for a range of external microphones with its 3.5mm mic jack and Multi Interface Shoe.

It can support 4K movie recording as well as Super Slow Mo recording at 960fps. Sony has said that they will soon revealed the price come July 2020.
