Hypershell, a company focused on wearable robotics, has officially entered the Malaysian market with the launch of its Hypershell X series PowerSuit exoskeletons. The product lineup includes the Go X, X Pro, and Carbon X models, all designed to improve endurance and reduce physical strain for outdoor activities, such as walking, running, and hiking.
Hypershell X Series Exoskeletons

The exoskeletons are built with Direct Drive Technology, offering up to 800W of assistive power, while the lightweight construction meant these units weigh between 1.8kg to 2.4kg, with the removable battery providing up to 17.5 km of support per charge. On the subject of batteries, these units use a 400-gram battery rated at 72Wh/5000mAh, with 65W fast charging support and is claimed to retain 80% charge after 800 charge cycles (this can be monitored via the Hypershell+ app).
Hypershell claims the support enables 40% greater leg strength and 30% less physical exertion, which puts less strain on the user under demanding movements. For the user wearing these exoskeletons, they will be wrapped by a specialized material called AeroFlex Softsuit, which is a 10-layer composite garment with 4mm padding that features improved comfort, load distribution, and breathability during extended use.

To make the exoskeletons as seamless as possible to the user’s movements, there’s the MotionEngine algorithm capable of predictive movement recognition with 0.03-second latency; the system also employs AI to learn and adapt to individual movement patterns over time. Its M-One Exoskeleton Motor System offers up to 300° of torsional freedom, compatible with various body sizes; the unit is also IP54-rated for ingress protection, and can withstand temperatures as low as -20°C.
As for pricing, the Hypershell Go X is priced at RM4,999, while the X Pro and Carbon X are priced at RM5,999 and RM8,499 respectively. All models, including their accessories, are now available through online platforms including Shopee, Lazada, TikTok, and the official Hypershell website.
Pokdepinion: A fairly interesting contraption, to say the least.
