The Rugged Acer Enduro Series Finally Arrives in Malaysia
Apart from the new laptop offerings, Acer Malaysia has also finally launched their rugged line of products, the Acer Enduro series, in the country. If you need something that’s rough and tough, this would be the one to go for.
Acer Enduro N3
Designed with a balance of durability and portability, the Acer Enduro N3 laptop meets the MIL-STD 810G and IP53 standards, allowing it to withstand the harshest of environments with ease. It’s said to be the thinnest and lightest 14-inch rugged laptop, with a thickness of 24.85mm and weighing in at just 1.985kg.
This laptop has reinforced corners, Corning Gorilla Glass display, and a unique water-resistant Aquafan which repels water. Furthermore, the keyboard and I/O ports have drainage holes with seals so the laptop can remain dry and work like normal even when exposed to water.
It is said to have a battery life of up to 13 hours, making it ideal for professionals who need to work off-site often or for long hours without access to power points. For added security, it has the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 to protect your data.
The Acer Enduro N3 laptop can be pre-ordered now on the Acer official website with retail prices starting from RM4,699. You have the choice of either the 10th Gen Intel Core i7 with 8GB RAM and 256GB NVMe PCIe SSD variant or the 10th Gen Intel Core i5 with 8GB RAM and 256GB NVMe PCIe SSD variant.
Acer Enduro T1
Next up, we have the Acer Enduro T1 tablet, which meets the MIL-STD 810G and IP54 standards. You can choose from either the Intel Celeron or MediaTek MT8385 option, which will also come with 64GB eMMC storage. It weighs a mere 500g and is said to withstand drops from over 1.2 meters. Apart from that, it’s also resistant against water and dust, so it can withstand quite a bit of damage that normal laptops would normally suffer from.
It is said to have a battery life of up to 10 hours, comes with reflection-free Corning Gorilla Glass display, and is operable even if the user is wearing gloves. This way, you can stay protected and don’t have to go through the hassle of removing protective gear to use it.
The Acer Enduro T1 tablet is now available for pre-order via the Acer official website with a retail price of RM1,599. You also have optional accessories and programmable keys that can be customized to suit your working environment.
Pokdepinion: I guess this would be a drop test I can do without worries. Would also make for a great, yet functional prop to hit someone with.
