Acer Malaysia Introduces New Swift Go 14 Laptops
First announced last December, the new Intel Core Ultra-powered Acer Swift Go 14 is officially entering the Malaysian market. Two variants will be offered, with the pairing of Core Ultra 7 + 1TB SSD and Core Ultra 5 + 512GB SSD respectively. Both configurations feature 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM.
The new Swift Go 14 gets the usual AI-powered features like webcam enhancements, including background blur, auto framing, and gaze correction. This is coupled with the 1440p webcam with the company’s own PurifiedView technology, and if a videoconferencing session is detected (if both camera and microphone are active), the laptop will summon the Acer QuickPanel to enable quick access to videoconferencing features.
Another less common AI feature comes in the form of Acer AlterView, which the company says can convert any 2D image into an animated background with 3D effects via AI-generated depth maps. Elsewhere, the laptop comes supported with Intel Unison for seamless connections between the laptop and the smartphone.
In terms of pricing, the Core Ultra 7 variant of Swift Go 14 is now available at the price of RM4,299, while the Core Ultra 5 model is priced at RM3,599.
