Alienware m15 R3, m17 R3, and Aurora R11 Coming Soon to Malaysia
If you have been looking to improve your gaming setup at home, then you’re going to have a number of new options to consider. To be precise, two gaming laptops and a gaming desktop by Alienware. The Alienware m15 R3, Alienware m17 R3, and the Alienware Aurora R11 gaming desktop. Let’s see what’s new with the gaming machines.
Alienware m15 R3 Gaming Laptop
The Alienware m15 R3 gaming laptop is essentially a souped up version of its predecessor, with improved specs. Coming with a 10th Gen Intel CPU up to i9-10980HK and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER Max-Q, it’s packing plenty of firepower for gamers to enjoy.
In terms of memory, it can come with up to 32GB DDR4 RAM clocking in at 2666 MHz and an assortment of storage solutions to consider. You can have a single storage solution, RAID0, and RAID0 with an extra 512GB PCIe M.2 SSD.
As for the display, you have the choice of a 15.6-inch display in either Full HD or 4K resolution. The Full HD variants have the benefits of high frame rates in either 144Hz or 300Hz whereas the 4K variant will use an OLED panel and comes with Tobii Eyetracking technology.
For networking, it will be powered by the KILLER Wi-Fi6 1650i 2×2, giving you 802.11ax Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and KILLER Ethernet E3000. And of course, the keyboard will have the AlienFX 4-zone RGB keyboard for that added bling factor. The battery capacity could come in either 56Whr or 86Whr, with the latter resulting in a better battery life but with a slightly heavier laptop, up to 2.5kg. It is still rather compact at just 20.5mm thin.

Alienware m17 R3 Gaming Laptop
The Alienware m17 R3 is essentially the same as the m15 R3 but in a bigger package. It has a 17.3-inch display with similar options of Full HD and 4K resolution, has an extra storage option for consumer to enjoy, and is nearly 500g heavier.

Alienware Aurora R11 Gaming Desktop
The Alienware Aurora R11 on the other hand is a gaming desktop. Gamers can pick a more budget-oriented build or go full force with dual graphics cards, Intel Core i9-10980HK, 64GB RAM, and dual SSD storage solutions. The motherboard itself uses the Intel Z490 chipset, which allows you to take advantage of a number of performance-enhancing features.

Pokdepinion: I can’t wait to give the machines a try. I am personally interested in the new m17 but I always want to know the thermal performance for both gaming laptops.
