ASUS Malaysia has announced that the BR1102 series laptops, first introduced in CES early this year, is entering the Malaysian market. This ruggedized laptop is aimed at K-12 students (primary & secondary schools) and comes with two form factors: clamshell (BR1102C) and 2-in-1 convertible (BR1102F).

The 11.6-inch (1366 x 768 resolution) laptop packs Intel’s new N-series processors that exclusively runs on E-cores, which provides high efficiency that the company touts up to 12 hours of battery life to last through a whole day of study. The laptops supports USB-C fast charging, and comes with Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5 for wireless connectivity. Also new is the UFS 2.1 storage replacing the old eMMC storage for faster access speeds (PCIe SSD expansion is also available).
