[CES 2022] New Lenovo Legion Products To Bring The Best Out Of You

It’s no surprise that we’re seeing new gaming products, and at CES 2022, we have a few Lenovo Legion offerings to look forward to. Here’s everything that you need to know.

Lenovo Legion 5 Pro / 5i Pro

First off, we have the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro series, which comes in the choices of either up to a 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12700H or AMD Ryzen 6000-series CPU. As for GPU, you can enjoy the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30-series with 165W TGP. The display is a WQHD+ panel with 240Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time, 100% sRGB, G-SYNC, and VESA DisplayHDR 400.

It can be configured with 4800MHz DDR5 RAM with up to 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD storage. Apart from that, you will also get Wi-Fi 6E, 300W high power delivery system, a sizable 80WHr battery, and a 4-zone RGB backlight effects system via the Legion Spectrum RGB Lighting.

The Lenovo Legion 5 Pro series will be retailing from USD $1,569 and USD $1,429 for the Intel and AMD variants respectively starting May 2022. No word yet on pricing and availability in Malaysia but we will be reporting more on this as soon as information becomes available so stay tuned.

Lenovo Legion 5 / 5i

We also have the standard model Lenovo Legion 5 / 5i gaming laptop. You have the choice of either a 12th Gen Intel Core CPU or an AMD Ryzen 6000-series CPU, with GPU being up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060. The display is a 15-inch WQHD resolution display with 165Hz refresh rate, 100% sRGB, and supports Dolby Vision.

Just like the Pro model, you will also be able to enjoy the Legion Spectrum RGB Lighting here but that’s not the only that’s shared. Anyone who purchases either of them will be able to enjoy 3-month Xbox Game Pass for free, so you will have access to a wide library of games for free during that period.

The Lenovo Legion 5 series will be retailing from USD $1,199 and USD $1,129 for the Intel and AMD variants respectively starting May 2022. No word yet on pricing and availability in Malaysia but we will be reporting more on this as soon as information becomes available so stay tuned.

Lenovo Legion Y25-30

For those of you who have a gaming desktop setup, the Lenovo Legion Y25-30 gaming monitor could be one for you to consider. It’s a 24.5-inch Full HD IPS display with 240Hz refresh rate, AMD FreeSync Premium, 99% sRGB with Delta E <2 colour accuracy, and a 0.5ms response time. Additionally, there’s also a Low Blue Light function to reduce the strain on your eyes.

The Lenovo Legion Y25-30 will be retailing from USD $339 starting May 2022. No word yet on pricing and availability in Malaysia but we will be reporting more on this as soon as information becomes available so stay tuned.
