At CES 2025, Acer has announced its new lineup of consumer products, including new Swift and Aspire laptops, Aspire AIOs, Revo Box Mini PC, and networking products. (For all the gaming products Acer announced, click here to read more.)
Laptops
Starting off with the new Swift Go AI series laptops: both the Swift Go 14 AI and Swift Go 16 AI are equipped with AMD’s latest 8-core Ryzen AI 7 350 or 6-core Ryzen AI 5 340 processors, paired with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB SSD storage. Display are identical in specs, offering 3K or 2K resolutions in both display sizes, while other specs include QHD webcam with triple-mic array, Wi-Fi 7, and dual USB4 ports. Acer didn’t specify the battery capacity of both models, and instead claims 24.9 hours of video playback on the 14-inch, and 18 hours on the 16-inch.
Acer also updated the similarly-named Swift Go series, sans ‘AI’ branding in its name. Both the Swift Go 14 and Swift Go 16 are expected to bring more firepower, however – CPU options includes Intel’s new Core Ultra 9 285H processor with 32GB LPDDR5X RAM; storage maxes out at 2TB for the 16-inch, or 1TB for the 14-inch model, while the 75Wh battery onboard both laptops are rated up to 22.3 hours and 27.5 hours of video playback, respectively.
Two new Aspire laptops are also introduced, including the Aspire 14 AI, and the Aspire Vero 16. The former features Intel’s Core Ultra 200V (Lunar Lake) or 100H (Meteor Lake) processor options, with 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, and 65Wh battery good for 22 hours of playback. The Aspire 14 AI also gets a new exclusive featured called Acer Assist, which is essentially an AI-powered “knowledge base” that operates locally.
Meanwhile, the Aspire Vero 16 features the new Intel Core Ultra 200H (Arrow Lake) processors, with 32GB LPDDR5X and 2TB SSD available for its top configuration. Notably, the Vero laptop has 70% more recycled and bio-based content on the chassis compared to its predecessor, and a easy-to-repair design to align with sustainability efforts.
Aspire AIOs
For the all-in-one (AIO) PCs, Acer announced two lineups: the Aspire S AI series and Aspire C AI series, both available in 24-inch and 27-inch sizes. The S series (Aspire S24 AI, Aspire S27 AI) will be Intel-powered, while the C series (Aspire C24 AI, Aspire C27 AI) packs AMD processors.
The S series is using Intel Core Ultra 200 series processors, though SKUs are not specified on the spec sheets; display options include a FHD 100Hz panel or QHD 120Hz panel for the 27-inch, while the 24-inch features only the FHD IPS touch panel (all options are rated for 250 nits of brightness). Elsewhere, it features up to 2TB SSD (two M.2 slots), 2-megapixel IR camera, HDMI 2.0, and Wi-Fi 7, while Thunderbolt is notably absent here.
For C series, options range from AMD Ryzen AI 5 340 up to Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, with up to 64GB of DDR5-5600 RAM, while storage includes a 1TB SSD and an optional 1TB HDD. Display options include FHD 120Hz for both sizes, while the 27-inch is also configurable with the QHD 180Hz option; all are rated for 250 nits for brightness. Both also gets a 5-megapixel webcam, while I/O includes HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB 10Gbps. However, connectivity is somewhat dated as they both use the original Wi-Fi 6 standard.
Revo Box AI Mini PC
Acer also introduces its Revo Box AI Mini-PC with Intel Core Ultra 200V (Lunar Lake) processors in a chassis with just 0.75L in volume and weighs 0.5kg. It supports both flat and upright installation via a portable stand, and inside it houses up to a 1TB SSD along with 32GB LPDDR5X-8533 RAM (depending on chosen CPU models). It also features an onboard fingerprint reader for security, while I/O includes DisplayPort, HDMI 2.1, USB4, dual 2.5GbE LAN, as well as Wi-Fi 6E connectivity. The retail package is also expected to include a mouse and keyboard set.
Networking Products
Finally, for this category Acer has announced two new products: first, the Acer Connect M6E 5G Mobile Wi-Fi supports physical SIM, virtual SIM, and SignalScan support to access 5G networks in over 135 regions. Onboard the device is a 8,000mAh battery that charges via USB-C, and last up to 28 hours; the device can support Wi-Fi 6E connections up to 20 devices simultaneously via its 6GHz band, and connection can be established via NFC. It’s also IP68-rated for ingress protection.
The second model announced is Acer Wave D7 Wi-Fi 7 dongle, with maximum rated speed of 2.88Gbps via 6GHz band support. It connects via USB-A port and USB-C port (from the base), with direct plug-and-play support. It features a combined BE6500 throughput rating via its tri-band support.
Availability
All products announced here are expected to be available in most regions in Q2 2025, though no local-specific availability and pricing information is available at the time of this writing.
Pokdepinion: Quite a lot of AI branding here, isn’t it?
