HP also brought along its latest gaming products for CES 2025, including the OMEN Max 16 gaming laptop, the OMEN 32x Smart Gaming Monitor, and the HyperX Pulsefire Saga mice series. Also introduced during the event is the new OMEN AI software that aims to optimize game performance with a one-click solution.

The OMEN Max 16 gaming laptop is HP’s most powerful gaming laptop to date: at the top end, it packs either Intel Core Ultra 9 or AMD Ryzen AI 9 processors with up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM, plus NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs to handle graphics duty. There’s a few interesting features packed inside, like the Fan Cleaner tech that reverses fan direction periodically to prevent dust buildup.
There’s also bits of HyperX-infused features throughout the laptop: aside from the very visible lattice-less RGB keyboard, and even an optional RGB light bar, one aspect of the laptop involves a “brand synergy” feature in the form of Ultra Low Latency Gen 3 technology that connects up to three select HyperX peripherals without needing 2.4GHz wireless dongles.

Moving on – the OMEN 32x Smart Gaming Monitor is HP’s first gaming monitor with integrated Google TV functionality. On the display side, it features a 31.5-inch 4K 144Hz IPS display with 1ms response time, while I/O includes USB-C with 65W PD for lightweight laptops. For audio, it is equipped with four 3-watt speakers and are Dolby Atmos-certified.
For the OMEN brand, HP also announced OMEN AI: a new software (currently in Beta) designed to offer a one-click solution to adjust operating system, hardware, and game settings for optimal FPS performance. According to HP, the software will “continually” adjust game settings to achieve the target FPS set within the OMEN Gaming Hub application. Counter-Strike 2 will be the first game covered by this new feature (more will be added over time).

Finally, HP’s other gaming sub-brand HyperX will be introducing its new Pulsefire Saga mice series, which supports modular shell design to allow interchangeable parts for up to 16 combinations. This is done to easily accommodate different hand shapes and sizes, and there is also a 3D printing file available on Printables.com for further customization, if needed. Also, the Pulsefire Saga Pro wireless mouse in particular supports dual wireless connectivity and instant pairing with select OMEN laptops, like the one we just mentioned.
No local availability and pricing has been announced thus far, though there are US pricing: the OMEN Max 16 laptop will be available starting at $2,699.99, while OMEN 32x Smart Gaming Monitor will cost $749.99. The HyperX Pulsefire Saga mice series are listed with a $79.99 starting price.
