[CES 2025] Lenovo Announces Full Lineup For Commercial, Gaming & Consumer Markets

Lenovo has announced a range of new products at CES 2025, spanning commercial, gaming, and consumer segments; the company has also announced new software enhanced with AI features like Lenovo AI Now and Legion Space to complement these new devices.

Lenovo Commercial Solutions

Lenovo’s business offerings include the ThinkPad X9 Aura Edition and ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable, both equipped with Intel Core Ultra 200V (Lunar Lake) processors. The latter is the interesting one: this laptop is the production version the rollable OLED concept laptop 2 years ago – in this case the display can vertically extend from 14 to 16.7 inches, or 50% more working space, via a single key press.

In desktops, Lenovo launched the ThinkCentre M90a Pro Gen 6, an AIO system with 27-inch QHD display, Intel Core Ultra CPU, and optional NVIDIA RTX 4050 graphics; the ThinkCentre neo 50q QC meanwhile is a compact desktop powered by Snapdragon X SoCs. Also launched is the new ThinkCentre neo Ultra Gen 2, a mini-PC also with Core Ultra processors.

Additional devices announced today under the commercial segment includes the new ThinkVision P series monitors with AI-powered energy efficiency, as well as accessories such as the solar-powered Bluetooth keyboard, Microsoft Teams-certified webcams, and various accessories for the ThinkPad X9 laptops.

Gaming: Legion Handhelds, Laptops, PCs & More

Lenovo Legion expanded its gaming portfolio with devices like the Legion Go S, along with the preview of the second-generation Legion Go; also updated is the Legion laptops featuring new Coldfront Hyper cooling systems and updated silicon from Intel, AMD, and NVIDIA.

For handhelds, Lenovo officially unveils the new Legion Go S which comes in two flavors: Windows, and SteamOS. Internally, both are identical hardware, including an 8-inch FHD+ 120Hz touch display, 55.5Wh battery, 730g weight, Wi-Fi 6E support, and USB4 support. This handheld also gets two new processor options – the new AMD Ryzen Z2 Go exclusive to this handheld, or Ryzen Z1 Extreme (despite being technically older, it is the faster chip of the two, and packs a more recent CPU+GPU architecture than the Z2 Go).

Meanwhile, the laptop maker has also revealed the second-generation Legion Go prototype, now featuring an 8.8-inch FHD+ 144Hz OLED touch display, AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor with onboard RDNA3.5-based graphics, 2TB SSD, 74Wh battery, and various chassis improvements based on user feedback. These includes more rounded chassis for better ergonomics, and a circular D-pad for more precise inputs. Launch date is set in 2025, though no specific timeframe has been publicized.

For Legion laptops, the updated models include Legion Pro 7i, Legion Pro 5i, Legion Pro 5, Legion 7i, Legion 5i, Legion 5 – general upgrades include new ColdFront Hyper cooling system enabling up to 250W of combined power for the new Legion Pro 7i, featuring up to Core Ultra 275HX and RTX 5090. Down the line, Legion Pro 5i/5 max out at combined 200W, with AMD models featuring the new Ryzen 9 9955HX processor; for Legion non-Pro laptops, all are equipped with RTX 5070 graphics, paired with CU9 275HX for Intel variants, or Ryzen AI 7 350 for AMD models.

Meanwhile, the Legion Tower desktop PCs will feature Intel Core Ultra 200, Ryzen 7000, and RTX 40 series silicon; while new gaming monitors, including the Legion Pro 34WD-10 and Legion R34w-30, both feature 21:9 ultrawide displays, with the former featuring USB-C DP, KVM, virtual monitors PIP/PBP and various gaming-focused features. Finally, there’s also the Legion Tab, an 8.8-inch gaming tablet with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 144Hz refresh and sampling rate, and up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM.

The budget LOQ series will also see updates, with the Intel-powered LOQ laptops featuring 14th Gen processors, while AMD counterparts will use the refreshed Ryzen 7 200 series chips. The sole LOQ desktop tower PC also features the new Intel Core Ultra processors.

Consumer Devices

Lenovo’s consumer offerings this time include devices like the Yoga Slim 9i, the first laptop with a camera-under-display technology, and the Yoga Book 9i, a dual-screen convertible laptop designed for note-taking and multitasking. Also new in the Yoga series is the Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition, Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition, Yoga 7i 2-in-1. All Yoga laptops will be equipped with Intel Core Ultra 200V (Lunar Lake) processors, with the sole exception of Yoga Book 9i featuring CU7 255H processor with Evo Edition certification.

For the Idea series, there’s the IdeaPad Pro 5i with Core Ultra 9 285H processor with 2.8K OLED 120Hz VRR display, 84Wh battery, all in a 1.99kg chassis. The IdeaCentre Mini x compact desktop is also announced, featuring Snapdragon X series SoCs. For tablets, Lenovo also announced the Yoga Tab Plus featuring Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, while the Idea Tab Pro features the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 SoC under the hood.
