COLORFUL has announced the launch of the second Rimbook model, dubbed Rimbook S1, following the launch of Rimbook L1 earlier this year.

The Rimbook S1 is a 14-inch laptop comes equipped with a FHD+ (1920×1200) display, weighing 1.48kg with a 17.95mm profile; performance-wise, you get up to an Intel Core i5-13420H processor, paired with 16GB DDR4 memory and a 512GB SSD. There’s a moderately-sized 60Wh battery onboard with 65W charging, though it’s using the traditional DC charger instead of USB-C in most laptops today.
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6 and 2.5GbE LAN, complemented by a range of I/O options such as USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps) Type-C, multiple USB Type-A ports, HDMI 1.4, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. For privacy, the laptop also integrates a power killswitch to disable the camera and microphone when needed.
The COLORFUL Rimbook S1 will be available at a suggested retail price of US$439 (RM1,846), with Gray and Silvery color options.
