There is a new information regarding the launch date of NVIDIA’s upcoming RTX 50 SUPER refresh, according to leaker ‘hongxing2020‘. This leaker alleges that there has been a ‘delay’ (for what it’s worth in the context of unreleased products), which means the launch is pushed to – presumably – Q1 2026.

Earlier in July, TweakTown alleged that its sources reported a Q4 or late 2025 release; though as of today several leakers and publications familiar with the matter seemed to have rebutted against this claim, with the general consensus being that Q1 2026 had always been the plan.

That said, we do have substantial information regarding the nature of the models themselves, and to recap – all three models (RTX 5080 SUPER, RTX 5070 Ti SUPER & RTX 5070 SUPER) will see 50% more VRAM thanks to the new 3GB GDDR7 modules, which is currently in use in one consumer chip: the RTX 5090 Laptop GPU. Besides that, the RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 Ti SUPER will also get increased TGPs, while the RTX 5070 SUPER gets a small bump in core count on top of that.

Per Videocardz, the board partners generally believes that the GPUs will launch in CES 2026, exactly a year after the original RTX 50 series launch which happened in the same event.

Pokdepinion: We’re pretty late into 2025 by now, so it’s actually pretty soon if you think about it.
