MSI Malaysia has brought in two new products debuted in Computex 2025 earlier this year, namely the MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 monitor and the MEG Vision X AI desktop PC.

Starting with the monitor with a rather mouthful name, this high-end gaming monitor packs the latest QD-OLED technology in the form of a 26.5-inch QHD (2560×1440) 500Hz panel with 0.03ms response time, 1.5ms input lag, along with 99% DCI-P3 (Delta-E ≤2), 300 nits SDR brightness and 515/1000 nits HDR brightness for 10% and 3% APL respectively, which is coupled with EOTF Boost mode. Display certifications include DisplayHDR True Black 500 and ClearMR 21000.

It’s also featuring the new OLED Care 3.0 panel protection suite, including a dedicated CMOS sensor and an onboard NPU to determine user presence, which automatically switches the screen off if the user is away (and vice versa). The panel refresh cycle is also extended from 16 hours to 24 hours to minimize potential interruptions to the user. There’s also the AI Navigator companion app with plenty of AI jargon, though it gives you plenty of control and even features individually-customizable game profiles.

The second product introduced today is the MEG Vision AI desktop tower PC, which is now in its second generation – assuming the ‘2nd’ in its name indicates so. It hasn’t changed much from the first generation debuted back in Computex 2024, with balls-to-the-wall specs and a second 13-inch vertical FHD touch display embedded directly in front of the case dubbed AI HMI (which stands for artificial intelligence human-machine interface). Internally, you get Intel Core Ultra 9 285K and MSI’s very own RTX 5090 Gaming Trio GPU to power this machine.

The notable upgrade involves what MSI calls Silent Storm Cooling AI, with AI involved in the fan tuning process to dynamically adjust fan speed based on workloads of each individual component, not just the CPU temperature. This can be particularly useful for, say, GPU-only workloads where the idling CPU wouldn’t trigger the fans and coolers to kick in when using earlier iterations of the system.

MSI Malaysia says the MPG 271QR QD-OLED X50 monitor is now available at RM4,899, while the flagship MEG Vision X AI desktop PC can be yours for a not-so-small sum of RM28,999.

Pokdepinion: That is one very fast OLED panel.
