Dell has announced the new range of Dell Pro Essential laptops, with new 14-inch and 15-inch models aimed at helping small businesses work more efficiently. Both models feature a thinner, lighter design compared to the previous generation, alongside business-focused performance, built-in security and connectivity intended for growing teams.

The Dell Pro Essential 14 and 15 are 11% thinner and 9-16% lighter than the previous generation, with a refreshed keyboard with shortcut keys designed to speed up common tasks, including a dedicated microphone mute key with an LED indicator, a dictation key for voice input, and a snapshot key for quick screen captures. The touchpad has also been enlarged by 6% compared to the previous generation.
The laptops are available with either Intel Core Series 3 or AMD Ryzen 200 Series processors, with memory configurations of up to 64GB and SSD storage up to 1TB. Display options include an FHD+ panel at 400 nits and a 2.5K panel at 500 nits, both using a 16:10 aspect ratio; the laptops also offer HD and FHD IR camera options, along with dual microphones. Connectivity options include two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, HDMI, an audio jack, and an RJ-45 Ethernet port on Intel-based models.
Both laptops include a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) hardware security chip, biometric login options via fingerprint reader or FHD IR camera, a mechanical camera shutter, and a security lock slot. The laptops are tested to MIL-810H durability standards, and are EPEAT Gold Climate+ registered and ENERGY STAR certified.
The Dell Pro Essential 14 and 15 laptops are available now in Malaysia, starting from RM3,998.76; they’re available in Celestial Blue and Platinum Silver colorways.
