Lenovo’s Legion 9i is powered by a formidable combination of Intel and NVIDIA processors, featuring the Intel Core i9-13980HX and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090, making it one of the most powerful gaming laptops currently available. The laptop offers options for LPDDR5X memory, with a capacity of up to 64GB, and a spacious 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage that can be upgraded to meet your expanding storage needs.

What sets this gaming laptop apart is its display – a Lenovo PureSight MiniLED screen with a 3.2K resolution and a refresh rate of 165Hz. It features a taller 16:10 aspect ratio, allowing for more on-screen content. In terms of design, the Legion 9i retains the minimalist aesthetics seen in previous Legion laptops but incorporates a distinctive “camo” pattern. It houses a variety of ports, including USB Type-A, Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, and an RJ-45 port, positioned around the laptop’s chassis.

For wireless connectivity, the Lenovo Legion 9i supports Wi-Fi 7 and the latest Bluetooth 5.3 technology. One of the laptop’s standout features is its innovative cooling system, the Legion Coldfront, which utilizes built-in liquid cooling technology. Developed in collaboration with Cooler Master, this cooling system activates when the GPU reaches a temperature of 84 degrees Celsius. It efficiently cools the GPU and VRAM to ensure optimal performance.

To cool other components, the system employs three fans that efficiently dissipate heat from various areas of the laptop. The Legion 9i also comes equipped with a substantial 99.9Wh battery, which can be charged using the provided 330W Slim Adapter or the included Type-C 140W charger.

Lenovo has announced that the Legion 9i gaming laptop will be available in select markets starting in October, with an initial price tag of €4,499 (approximately RM22,680). With its powerful specifications, impressive display, and innovative cooling system, the Lenovo Legion 9i aims to deliver an exceptional gaming experience for enthusiasts and gamers alike.
