MSI Officially Launches New Laptop Lineup In Malaysia, With Steam Wallet Code Up For Grabs

MSI has refreshed and introduced significant redesigns to its laptops this year, packed with latest Intel 13th Gen CPUs and NVIDIA RTX 40 series laptop GPUs. This year sees updates on more than 10 models in gaming lineup alone, ranging from the entry-level Cyborg (newly introduced this year), Pulse, Katana series; to Stealth series that includes 4 sizing options, to the performace-oriented Vector GP, Raider GE series and finally – the flagship Titan GT77 with every top-of-the-line spec you could ask for in a laptop.
The MSI Titan GT77HX in particular contains ridiculously powerful specs: a 24-core Core i9-13980HX CPU, quad-slot DDR5 with up to 128GB support, 17.3-inch Mini-LED 4K 144Hz panel, up to 175W RTX 4090, Cherry MX ULP key switches, etc. The price comes at an eye-watering RM26,999 – so if you want a no-holds-barred laptop, this is pretty much it.
It’s not just the gaming series that received updated hardware. On the creators segment, the new Creator Z series also comes with latest Intel and NVIDIA hardware all cooled with vapor chamber system making for “most powerful creator laptops”, claims MSI. The star of this segment though, is not quite a laptop: it’s the new MSI Pen 2, which literally writes like a pencil. Unlike most styluses out there, MSI has fitted a graphite tip on the pen – the same one on wooden pencils – to enable seamless writing on the screen and on physical paper.
The office-oriented Prestige series gets Intel Evo certification and all comes with Intel 13th Gen, plus NVIDIA Studio-certified RTX 40 series GPUs. The 13-inch Prestige 13 Evo is the star of this segment, with a new magnesium-aluminum alloy that sheds chassis weight down to sub-kilogram levels, at just 990g. The ultra-lightweight chassis still packs a huge 75Wh battery which should allows for long runtimes. Finally, the company also noted that the Modern series is set to receive new color options as well.
