Special Edition ROG Zephyrus G14 created in partnership with ACRONYM
In case you didn’t know, I absolutely loved the ROG Zephyrus G14 for its sleek and minimalist design, on top of the excellent performance offered in such a compact package. Yet, somehow ASUS decided to partner up with ACRONYM to take away the former, giving us the special edition ROG Zephyrus G14.
The special edition ROG Zephyrus G14, dubbed the ROG ZEPHYRUS G14 ACRNM RMT01, differs from the normal one with a new, deep black finish that appears to be different from the Eclipse Gray color option that was offered on the regular ROG Zephyrus G14. The perforations for the AniMe Matrix also covers the entire lid now, even though the Mini LEDs’ coverage is still similar to the regular variants.
While that does look pretty nice, it is messed up by a peculiar assortment of symbols and text that absolutely demolishes the sleek, low-key appeal of the ROG Zephyrus G14. This is most evident on the bottom cover. Even the power brick isn’t left out of the fun.
In addition to the exterior, ACRONYM added their touch to the keyboard, turning it into a messy cacophony of colors. The font used is an all-new typeface, although that is probably the least of your concerns when the keyboard looks like your kid went to town on it with his watercolor set. The customizations also extend to the software, with eight ACRONYM-designed animations available exclusive for the ROG ZEPHYRUS G14 ACRNM RMT01.
The best thing that comes out of the partnership is probably the ACRONYM Airpak laptop sleeve that protects the laptop when on the go. Whether you can fit it into a bag is probably another matter altogether, but it does look pretty nice. You even get one to fit your powerbrick too. How thoughtful.

Pokdepinion: Oh the blasphemy… But that 32GB RAM does sound good to take advantage of the CPU performance on hand. But the design…
