We will finally be getting a Xiaomi laptop here in Malaysia officially as the Xiaomi RedmiBook 15 is confirmed coming to our shores. There will be two variants for you to choose from; Intel Core i5-11300H with 512GB SSD and Intel Core i3-1115G4 with 256GB SSD. Both variants will come with 8GB DDR4 RAM.

The Xiaomi RedmiBook 15 will be using a 15.6-inch Full HD display and weighs a mere 1.8kg, making it rather easy to bring around. The battery life is said to be up to 10 hours per full charge, with 50% charge in just 33 minutes, and the battery capacity set at 46Whrs. Apart from that, you get a 720p webcam, 2W stereo speakers with DTS, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth support.

As for ports, it will come two USB 3.0 ports, a USB 2.0 port, an HDMI 1.4 port, a 3.5mm combo audio jack, a flash card reader, Kensington Lock, and an RJ45 LAN port.

The Xiaomi RedmiBook 15 will be retailing from RM2,399 to RM2,799 but if you purchase it from now until 30th June 2022, you will be able to get it at a more affordable price, from RM1,899 to RM2,499 instead. You can purchase them through the official Xiaomi store on Lazada and Shopee, as well as official Xiaomi Stores nationwide.
