Google has wrapped up its Pixel Spotter Challenge in Malaysia, with 11 Malaysians emerging as winners after completing seven weeks of increasingly difficult football-themed gameplay. The Pixel Spotter Challenge was part of the broader Google Pixel Football Campaign, which ran from 15 June to 31 July 2026, and prizes included the Google Pixel 10a, Pixel Watch 4, and Pixel Buds 2a.
Pixel Spotter Challenge Format and Winners
The Pixel Spotter Challenge was structured across five progressively challenging levels, testing participants’ ability to spot and identify Pixel-related content tied to the football campaign. Participants who made it through all five stages were in contention for the top prizes.
Among the 11 winners, one stood out for a different reason. Subas Segar did not top the leaderboard outright but instead won through the Referral category, having shared the challenge with his circle of friends and turned the online game into a friendly competition among them. Segar received his Pixel Buds 2a from Brett Lees, Sales Lead for Southeast Asia, at the Google Malaysia office.
Google Pixel Football Campaign Details

The Pixel Spotter Challenge sat within the wider Google Pixel Football Campaign, which combined football-inspired gameplay with consumer rewards throughout the six-week promotional period. The campaign also featured limited-edition collectibles, including just 200 Football Edition Google Pixel Plushies made available for redemption nationwide.
