HONOR Malaysia has announced the pricing of HONOR X9c Smart ahead of its launch on 11 December 2024 at 8PM; also announced is the new HONOR X5b Plus, which is now available for purchase.
HONOR X9c Smart: Pricing
Here’s a refresher: the budget-adjacent HONOR X9c Smart features the same Ultra-Tough Triple Defense technology as the X9c 5G with improved drop, water, and scratch resistance. It is equipped with 16GB RAM (including 8GB HONOR Turbo RAM), 256GB of storage, and a 5,800mAh battery; the phone also gets a 6.8-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, plus a 108MP main camera for photo and video duty. All these can be purchased for RM1,099 when it goes on sale in less than 48 hours.
HONOR X5b Plus
Down at the most affordable range of smartphones, the HONOR X5b Plus aims to deliver performance while remaining affordable. It features 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, a 6.56-inch HONOR FullView Display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 50MP AI Dual Camera for imaging; the MediaTek G36 processor is responsible for performance, while the device also includes a 5,200mAh battery that should convert to decent battery life. The price? Just RM429 – which gets you an entry-level smartphone that should get the basics done.
