ZOTAC has opened pre-orders for the ZOTAC GAMING ZONE gaming handheld through authorized dealers nationwide – the device is set to officially go on sale on December 13, 2024, making it the latest entrant in the competitive gaming handheld market.
ZOTAC GAMING ZONE
Internally, the ZOTAC GAMING ZONE is powered by AMD’s Ryzen 7 8840U processor with Zen 4 cores paired with RDNA3 graphics, good for native 1080p gaming; AMD Fluid Motion Frames and FidelityFX Super Resolution is also part of its software suite to help boost framerates. The processor is paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X-7500 memory, a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD (quite small these days), and a UHS-II microSD card reader for expanded storage.
Other aspects of the handheld includes the 7-inch FHD AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a searing peak brightness of up to 800 nits; it also incorporates advanced control features such as Hall Effect joysticks for better precision and longevity, two-stage adjustable triggers, radial dials for quick system adjustments, and dual trackpads for when you need a more natural way of navigating through the Windows 11 operating system. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E and dual USB4 ports, while additional features include a front-facing camera and a fingerprint reader for secure login via Windows Hello.
ZOTAC GAMING is introducing two optional accessories: a docking station with additional ports and NVMe SSD expansion, priced at RM289, and a carrying case with extra storage space for RM189. The ZOTAC GAMING ZONE is priced at RM3,899 and includes a one-month Xbox Game Pass membership.
