Huawei Malaysia has introduced three flagship products: the HUAWEI Mate X6 foldable smartphone, the HUAWEI nova 13 Series smartphones, and the HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 4 wireless earbuds. All three products are now open for preorders, with both smartphones launching on 10 January 2025, and the earbuds launching in the following day.

The HUAWEI Mate X6 foldable comes with a 7.93-inch LTPO OLED internal display coupled with a 6.45-inch LTPO OLED cover display; its triple-camera system includes a 50MP main sensor, a 40MP ultrawide, and a 48MP telephoto. As with all other models announced by this company, chipset largely remains unknown and it’s something that it has stopped advertising since the US sanctions – however it does come with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, in line with most flagship smartphones today. For RM8,688 each, you can get one available in Nebula Red, Nebula Grey, and Black.

Moving on, the HUAWEI nova 13 Series has three models available, the standard nova 13 (RM1,799), nova 13 Pro (RM2,399), and the new nova 13i (RM1,299). Some of the common features shared between the two include a 60MP camera at the front, along with a 50MP main sensor at the back (the Pro also gets variable aperture). Both shares the same 12GB RAM, and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 100W SuperCharge Turbo for fast charging. As for the cheaper nova 13i, it gets a different set of specs that includes an 108MP main shooter, 5,000mAh battery with 40W fast charging, and a 8+256GB storage configuration.

Finally, the HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 4 earbuds provide high-resolution audio through Dual-Driver True Sound and an 11mm Quad-Magnet Dynamic Driver Unit; the earbuds also include Intelligent Dynamic ANC and AI noise cancellation that suppresses outside noise by a whopping 100 decibels. It also uses the proprietary L2HC 4.0 codec that delivers up to 2.3Mbps (for reference, a high-quality MP3 audio is only 320kbps). They are available in Black, White, and Green, priced at RM899.

Pokdepinion: I like the black and gold color scheme from the new FreeBuds.
