iQOO has confirmed that the iQOO Neo 10 will soon launch in Malaysia, marking the local debut of the Neo Series; the upcoming device will be the first smartphone in the Malaysian market to feature the newly introduced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor.

Just so you know, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 is the high-end chip among the Snapdragon family, but it’s not the flagship – that title goes to the now-rebranded Snapdragon 8 Elite featuring Oryon cores (the same as X series powering Windows laptops). Here, the 8s Gen 4 adopts the older Kryo cores, although it’s still a healthy 31% gen-on-gen improvement per the chipmaker’s claims (whereas GPU is 49% faster).
