Lenovo Legion Gaming Smartphone to Support Ultra Fast 90W Charging
Lenovo has recently published a posted on Chinese social networking site Weibo, which shows that the upcoming Lenovo Legion gaming smartphone will support ultra fast 90W charging.
It is said to tbe world’s first smartphone to support 90W charging, capable of fully charging the smartphone in just 15 to 20 minutes. It’s worth noting that that Xiaomi is developing 100W charging for their smartphone but that will most likely be available after the Lenovo Legion gaming smartphone is launched.
Other Notable Features of the Lenovo Legion Gaming Smartphone
From what we know thus far, the Lenovo Legion gaming smartphone is going to be a very powerful device. It’s said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset and 144Hz display. Apart from that, it has 5,050 mAh basttery capacity, a triple-camera setup, and two USB-C ports.
It’s worth pointing out that the device was recently spotted on China’s patent website, CNIPA. There are two colour variants available; Red and Metallic Grey. It also has a tall display with bezels on the top and bottom, with some resemblance to the old Motorola X series. While top bezels housing a selfie camera may be a dated design choice, having a notch could be more distracting for gamers.
For now we still don’t have an official presentation date for the Lenovo Legion gaming smartphone yet. We will be update on the matter as soon as information becomes available so stay tuned.
Pokdepinion: 90W is just insane. Sure, others might be working on higher wattage but it’s still pretty powerful. This would be useful to carry around just one charger that can be used for both the smartphone and a USB-C charging-compatible laptop.
