nubia Red Magic 7 Series Comes With 165W Charging Brick Plus Upgraded Cooling
The latest nubia Red Magic 7 Series has finally been unveiled, the company’s newest gaming smartphones and here’s what they are all about.

The Pro and vanilla version of the series offers a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with DCI-P3 coverage. What differs here is that the former has a 10-bit support and a brighter 700 nits display instead of 600 nits on the normal variant.
Touch sampling is another difference as the Pro offers as high as 960Hz plus a refresh rate at 120Hz. That being said, the Red Magic 7 comes with 720Hz touch sampling rate but a higher 165Hz refresh rate.
Aside from that, the Pro comes with an under-display camera instead of the standard punch-hole camera for the normal version.
The shoulder triggers has seemingly been upgraded with 500Hz with a response rate as low as 7.4ms. With the Red Magic Studio app, it allows you to mirror the screen at 120Hz. In addition to that, there’s a HDMI adapter or USB-C video output which allows you to get up to 165Hz out to a compatible display.
When it comes to battery, the Pro comes with a bigger 5000mAh battery compared to 4500mAh on the vanilla version. That being said, both of them come with a 165W charging brick, where the Pro can charge at 135W and 120W for the normal version.
They’ve said that with the new fan inside the device, it can reduce the CPU core temperature by 16-Celsius and provides assurance of a stable performance in a long duration. Aside from that, it features ICE 8.0, where it comes with a nine-layer cooling structure that includes Composite Phase Heat Dissipation Material, a new thermally-conductive gel, vapor chamber, and a graphite sheet for cooling performance.
The phones has been up for pre-orders in China and begins sale on the 21st of February starting from the price of CNY 4000 (~RM2,643) for the nubia Red Magic 7 with 8GB+128GB configuration and CNY 4,700 (~RM3,106) which comes with 12GB RAM mated with 128GB internal storage.
