Quick Charge 3 Plus Will Be Faster And More Affordable Says Qualcomm

Qualcomm has recently revealed the new Quick Charge 3 Plus, the latest generation of quick charging technology. The company has let out some interesting details about it where it comes with faster charging as well as offered at cheaper prices for upcoming Android devices.

The new feature will be coming to the Snapdragon 765 and 765G chipsets first. Other Snapdragon platforms that will be supported has yet to be announced though they claim that there will be distributed across device tiers.

With Quick Charge 3 Plus, Qualcomm aims to bring performance while being affordable to the market. It is said that the feature can charge a device from 0% to 50% in just 15 minutes, which is an upgrade from their previous generations.

Other than that, Qualcomm has said that it delivers charging speed at 9 degrees Celsius cooler. Meanwhile, the power output uses 20V and 3A up to 60W.

Qualcomm Quick Charge 3 Plus will support USB-A to USB-C cables and accessories, making it more affordable compared to Quick Charge 4 Plus.
