realme has launched a third model under its budget C100 series smartphone in Malaysia – the new realme C100x builds on top of the C100 series (with C100 5G and C100i already sold here) with a bigger 8,000mAh battery as its primary selling point.
realme C100x: 8,000mAh Battery & 45W Fast Charging

Besides the big silicon-carbon battery, the realme C100x features 45W fast charging to make sure it tops up in relatively short time – five minutes is good for four hours of call time, and the electrons can flow the other way for small devices with 6W reverse charging. realme claims the battery can sustain 1,600 charge cycles (or 7 years), and is rated to maintain performance across temperatures ranging from -20°C to 53°C, all while keeping a slim 8.78mm thickness.
The C100x includes realme’s ArmorShell Protection with five structural enhancements, including an optimized front-shell design, a shock-absorbing structure for internal components, and a high-strength glass cover; realme states these features allow the device to pass the MIL-STD-810H shock resistance test and achieve up to 2-meter front drop resistance on marble surfaces. The smartphone also includes IP64-rated dust and water resistance.
Keep in mind the realme C100x is a budget smartphone, so performance is not exactly its strong suit. We’re talking Unisoc T7250 – a very aging chip in 2026 – with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of eMMC storage, while the display is a 6.8-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ (1570 x 720) resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 900 nits of HBM brightness.
The realme C100x will be available from 28 August 2026 through official realme Brand Stores, authorised dealer stores, and official Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop channels, in Golden Coast and Deepblue Tides colorways. Pricing will be announced closer to launch.
Pokdepinion: It should be cheap, at least.
