vivo Malaysia is set to introduce the vivo V80 Lite, with the new midrange model offering one of the biggest battery you can find in a smartphone. Underneath that slim chassis is 10,000mAh of silicon-carbon battery (branded as BlueVolt) that should make this upcoming model a very long-lasting one.

vivo V80 Lite Uses vivo’s Largest Battery To Date

The vivo V80 Lite uses vivo’s largest battery to date, built with fourth-generation silicon anode technology and “Magic Cube Battery Packaging.” Despite the large battery capacity, vivo states the device maintains a slim profile – exactly how slim is not known yet, but the promotional photos does suggest it won’t be any thicker than what you’ll see in a conventional smartphone. With a battery this huge, reverse charging support is a given – allowing it to share power with other devices.

Besides the sheer capacity, vivo claims the new BlueVolt battery is designed to deliver stable power at temperatures up to 45°C, meaning battery performance shouldn’t degrade much even in extremely hot environments. The smartphone includes a 3.8K Ultra Large VC Cooling System to help manage heat, along with a Battery Life Extender feature that supports essential functions when battery levels are low.

The device is otherwise as typical as you’d imagine – a flat, rounded-corner slab with a rounded square-shaped camera bump (the classic “iPhone” look, if you will), packing a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display at the front. (Rumored specs say it’ll be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7500 chipset, with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.) Three colors are confirmed, including Afterglow Pink, Emerald Green, and Dawn Black.

Further details on pricing and availability for the vivo V80 Lite in Malaysia will be announced very soon – as of this writing, the pre-booking page has just opened, though no specs has been confirmed beyond what has been mentioned thus far in this article.
