The REDMAGIC 11S Pro is officially here in Malaysia, with the mid-generation refresh still powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, although in this case it’s the Leading Version variant that features a pair of overclocked Oryon V3 Phoenix L cores at 4.74GHz, as opposed to 4.6GHz on stock Gen 5 chips. While this should mean faster performance, exactly how fast will depend on whether the new model sticks to benchmarking rules.
REDMAGIC 11S Pro Debuts
The same chipset also packs an Adreno 840 GPU, combined with the RedCore R4 dedicated gaming chip and Energy Cube 3.0 optimization engine, which REDMAGIC claims provides a 40% performance improvement and up to 12% lower power consumption compared to the 10S Pro. The new model largely inherits the non-S model, with the exact same dimensions and a slightly altered chassis design, which includes the lack of a camera bump, and under-screen selfie camera.
First debuted in the REDMAGIC 11 series, the AquaCore liquid cooling system was carried over to the new smartphone, which consists of four components: fluorinated liquid cooling loop, Liquid Metal 3.0 positioned above the vapor chamber, a 13,116mm² vapor chamber with a “4D design” claiming 50% improved heat dissipation, and a fingernail-sized waterproof TurboFan rated at 24,000RPM and IP68 with noise below 30dB. All told, the company claims they reduce peak temperatures by 2-3°C compared to the “prior generation”.
Below the Corning Gorilla Glass panel is a 6.85-inch BOE X10 AMOLED display runs at 2688 x 1216 resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate, 95.3% screen-to-body ratio, and 1,800 nits peak brightness, paired with Synaptics 3910V chip and Magic Touch 4.0 technology supporting up to 3000Hz instant touch sampling rate and 2592Hz PWM dimming frequency. Same 7500mAh battery is responsible for a claimed 34.1 hours of use and 14 hours of MOBA gaming, with 80W wired and wireless fast charging support.
The smartphone’s gaming-specific hardware includes 520Hz shoulder triggers with portrait-mode support, 0815 X-axis linear motors for haptic feedback, upgraded stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and RGB side-frame lighting. Color-wise, the REDMAGIC 11S Pro is available in Nightfreeze (Black Transparent) and Subzero (Silver Transparent). Both are now available, the 12+256GB Nightfreeze variant is priced at RM3,799, while the 16+512GB variant in both colorways is priced at RM4,499.
