Redmi K30 Pro launched in China priced from less than RM1880
The Redmi K30 Pro has definitely drummed up quite a bit of hype for itself by teasing an affordable price tag and absolutely mind-blowing specifications. After waiting for it for the last few days, it has just been launched officially in China from just CNY 2999 (~RM1878).
As teased earlier, the Redmi K30 Pro comes with a Snapdragon 865 cooled by one of the largest vapor chambers in a smartphone ever. There are two variants available, with the standard Redmi K30 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition available. Both models share most of the same features with the main exception being the camera setups.
The Redmi K30 Pro offers a 2x “telephoto” macro camera, while the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition gets a 3x optical zoom module, complete with OIS. Of course I would personally opt for the former, but different strokes for different folks, I guess. Both variants will come with a primary 64MP camera a 13MP ultra-wide angle shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor.
To fit into a more affordable price bracket, the Redmi K30 Pro’s base model also comes with UFS 3.0 storage and LPDDR4x memory, unlike its pricier brethren that sport LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Here are the full specifications of the Redmi K30 Pro series.

The Redmi K30 Pro will go on sale in China on 27th March. Both variants are available in Space Grey, Galaxy Purple, Moonlight White and Sky Blue.
