ROG Phone 3 launch date has just been confirmed!
The much anticipated ROG Phone 3’s launch date has just been confirmed. The upcoming gaming phone from the Republic of Gamers is slated for a 22nd July launch, and will bring a slew of upgrades to the previous ROG Phone 2.
In the teaser, ASUS ROG promises that the wait will be worth it. So I am guessing that the improvements should be quite significant. Previous leaks of the ROG Phone 3 has hinted at the presence of a Snapdragon 865+ despite prior evidence pointing to the contrary. With the new chipset comes WiFi 6 and 5G connectivity too, bringing the ROG Phone 3’s connectivity options to a whole new level.
On top of that, the display is also expected to be updated to a 144 Hz OLED panel, up from the 120 Hz one that the ROG Phone 2 offers. The leaked design also revealed a triple camera setup, which should add more flexibility to the camera prowess of the ROG Phone 3. The rear design is much sleeker too, instead of the overtly aggressive metal-and-glass design that the original ROG Phone and ROG Phone 2 touted.
The launch is happening in just three weeks’ time, so stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the ROG Phone 3 launch this 22nd July.
Pokdepinion: Well, I hope the pricing is going to be as enticing as the ROG Phone 2, or better.
