Samsung is gearing up for the launch of the Galaxy S24 FE, and new leaks have given us a comprehensive look at what to expect. The upcoming device, part of Samsung’s popular Fan Edition series, has been revealed through a set of renders, showcasing the phone in four striking colorways: blue, graphite, green, and yellow.
Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Colors and Key Features Leaked
While these images provide a close look at the design, there is speculation that the S24 FE will also be available in white, although that color wasn’t included in the recent leaks.
At first glance, the Galaxy S24 FE looks nearly identical to its predecessor, the S23 FE. Samsung appears to be following the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” philosophy, sticking to a tried-and-tested design language. Even the placement of the LED flash remains unchanged from the previous model.
However, the main design update is the S24 FE’s flat aluminum frame. Additionally, the side bezels have been slightly slimmed down to 1.99mm, offering a more streamlined appearance. The back panel will feature glass, giving the phone a premium feel despite its mid-range positioning.
The Galaxy S24 FE will boast a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and gameplay. The screen will also offer a peak brightness of 1,900 nits, ensuring visibility even in bright outdoor conditions. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+, providing durability against everyday wear and tear.
Under the hood, the device will be powered by an underclocked version of the Exynos 2400 chipset. While it may not match the performance of Samsung’s flagship models, the S24 FE is expected to deliver solid performance for daily tasks and light gaming.
In terms of photography, the Galaxy S24 FE will sport a versatile camera setup, including:
- A 50MP main camera for high-quality shots.
- A 12MP ultrawide camera for capturing broader scenes.
- An 8MP 3x telephoto lens for detailed zoom shots.
This camera configuration is similar to what we’ve seen on other Samsung models, ensuring a balance of quality and versatility for mobile photography enthusiasts.
The Galaxy S24 FE will support 25W wired charging and 15W wireless charging, allowing users to quickly power up their devices. While these charging speeds aren’t the fastest on the market, they are standard for this price range.
Samsung typically releases its Fan Edition phones in the latter part of the year, and if history is any guide, we can expect the Galaxy S24 FE to be announced around October, just like its predecessor, the S23 FE.
Pokdepinion: I am both excited and worried for this smartphone. I want to see how much value consumers will end up getting but I’m worried to see its price due to currencies going haywire at the moment.
